The producers

Polgoon Vineyard and Orchard
John and Kim Coulson, Polgoon's owners, have developed the Vineyard into a flourishing business. The Vintage Aval and Vintage Aval with Raspberry offer a really fabulous Cornish answer to champagne. Light, dry sparkling ciders, they are lovely, refreshing and refined. The Raspberry Aval is a recent winner of a Gold in Taste of the West Awards 2009.

Cornish Country Larder
A family run business that over looks the north coast at Tavarrian, near Newquay. All the cheeses use pasturised milk. Their Camembert is carefully developed to give a delicious full bodied flavour and it has a smooth texture and a wonderfully complex flavour.

Whalesborough Farm
The farm is a mile south of Bude just behind Widemouth Bay. All the milk is pasteurised. The award winning Trelawny Cheese is a semi hard, mould ripened cheese with a traditional clean, full, lemony flavour. It has a creamy after taste and slightly crumbly moist texture.

Cornish Cheese Co
Cornish Blue is made at Knowle Farm on the edge of Bodmin Moor and has been in production since 2001. A gorgonzola style texture with a soft creamy centre made from pasturised milk. The cheese is rich, mild and very moorish.

Deli Farm Chacuterie
A rapidly expanding venture making traditionally air dried salami and ham close to the rugged North Cornish coastline. All the meat is sourced from local producers and mixed with freshly ground herbs and spices to produce a variety of flavours and textures.

W Harvey and Sons
A Cornish family run business that began in 1955 when William Harvey and his three sons first began selling crab and lobster. The business provides the best local shellfish and supports local fishermen by sourcing from privately owned boats and their own small fleet of shellfish boats operating out of Newlyn.

Pilchard Works
Based in Newlyn near Penzance, they only use the finest fish from the waters around West Cornwall, sourcing their Cornish Pilchards from small local boats. The pilchards are prepared to unique Breton recipes by the oldest sardine cannery in the world.

Halzephron Herb Farm
In the early days the farm produced herbs for local restaurants, but a few experimental recipes turned into a unique range of delicious products. Their handmade, traditional recipes use organic, locally grown herbs whenever possible and other natural ingredients make these tasty chutneys and mayonnaise as popular as ever.

Berrio Mill
Berrio Mill produce handmade mustards, chutneys and jellies using either their own fruit and vegetables or with produce sourced through a local cooperative with their neighbours. Each batch is made in small quantites without any artifical flavours or preservatives.

Cornish Crisp Company
The Cornish Crisp Company makes the first truly Cornish crisp, made in Cornwall using Cornish potatoes all year round. They are made in small batches using 100% fresh sunflower oil.

Roskillys
The Roskillys products all share a rich, delicious flavour. Their Jersey cows graze freely in the meadows round the farm; their diet of lush grass produces the creamiest organic milk, which they turn into clotted cream in the farm's kitchen. You can really taste this freshness in their fudge Ð and the lack of preservatives.

Furniss
Furniss of Cornwall is a proud old Cornish company. It began in Truro in the 1880s, when master baker John Cooper Furniss began producing Fairings and gingerbreads from a Truro teashop. Still based on many of the original recipes they use only the finest ingredients, including Cornish clotted cream and Cornish butter.

Holtz Toys
A family run toy retailer based in Cornwall. They pride themselves on their ethical and environmental policies and support fair trade.
