Keeping the kids happy

We understand that the most important part of a successful family holiday, is keeping the kids happy. If the kids aren’t relaxed, mum and dad aren’t relaxed. Only 1.5 miles form the nearest beach and with a 19-acre farm with woodland and streams to explore, children should have lots of outdoor fun on their holiday, however we do have some extra ideas for on-site entertainment.

Games room

There is a games room on the farm that our guests are free to use. We have table tennis and table football and in addition, traditional outdoor games such as giant jenga and giant connect four.

Activity pack

If you’re thinking of booking a luxury hamper for mum and dad to enjoy, why not book an activity pack for the kids? It includes a tub of eco play dough, a pack of colouring pencils and a giant cardboard tee-pee or rocket - surprisingly strong they have closing doors and windows and are easily large enough to accommodate at least two small children. With their unfinished surface, your child can get creative and decorate the outside with their new coloured pencils!

Farm trail

Our farm trail adventure will be ready for Summer 2011. As the kids explore the farm trail, they’ll have a fun activity sheet to fill out. It asks questions about what they can see around the farm - from out in the open fields, down through the woods by the stream, and up past the animals. And of course every completed activity sheet deserves a free tub of tasty Cornish organic ice cream!

Design our adventure playground

We have plans to create an adventure playground in our woods in the future. Who better to help design it than our smaller guests? Whether they imagine a log fort with giant slides or a cosy tree house with swinging ropes we’d love to see their ideas.
