How to book your holiday at Pencuke Farm

Booking process

Please telephone Pencuke Farm on 01840 230360 or complete the booking enquiry on our website to check the availability of a yurt. If a yurt is available and you wish to confirm your booking, we require a completed booking form and a deposit of one third of the total yurt rental.

Telephone bookings can be made by calling us on 01840 230360 and quoting credit or debit card details. Our booking conditions will apply.

If you wish to pay by post, we will reserve the yurt for you for 5 days from receipt of enquiry, pending the receipt of your completed booking form and a deposit of one third of the total urt rental. If posted, booking forms must be accompanied by one of the following:

  1. A cheque drawn on a UK bank made payable to Freedom park Management Ltd'. Cheques cannot be accepted if the booking is within 21 days of the commencement of the holiday.
  2. A bank transfer to our account, details are provided on the booking form
  3. Credit or debit card details (which may be given over the telephone if preferred)

Upon receipt of deposit payment and a fully completed and signed booking form, we will forward you a confirmation letter by post.

The balance of the rent in full, plus any extra charges i.e. security deposit, is due for payment 6 weeks before the start of your holiday (this date will be specified on your booking confirmation). For guests wishing to pay the final balance or full amount on credit card, a surcharge of 1.5% will be added. Finally, on receipt of the balance or total payment, details of key collection and concise travel instructions will be despatched to you.

We believe that comprehensive holiday and cancellation insurance is essential.

Security deposit

We reserve the right to charge a security deposit with balance of payment. This deposit will be refunded to you during the week following your holiday. A deduction will be made for any breakages or damage done to the yurt, or if it is not left in an acceptable clean and tidy condition, including correct disposal of rubbish/waste.

Arrival/departure times

Unless an alternative time is stated in your travel instructions, which are sent following receipt of your balance payment, please do not arrive at your yurt before 3pm and on your last day, please vacate the yurt by 10am, taking care to leave it as you would wish to find it.

Pets

Unfortunately pets cannot accompany guests staying in any of the yurts.

Cots and high chairs

Cots and/or high chairs can be provided free of charge however cot bedding is not available, so you would need to bring your own. Please request a cot and or high chair when booking to ensure availability.

Bed linen and towels

Bed linen is provided free in the yurts. Towels are not provided, except to overseas guests who can hire them. Overseas guests need to request towel hire when booking.

Smoking

All of our yurts are non-smoking.
